| The Hudson Volunteer Fire Department has been busy this summer with grass and brush fires as well as mutual aid assist to other Departments for grass and brush fires. Our Volunteers work very hard and endure extreme heat while dealing with these situations. With temperatures over 100 degrees daily and no rain, it is very important that our citizens are aware of the extreme fire danger. Keep your local Fire Department members in your thoughts and prayers as they leave their family to go protect your family. The next time you see a Volunteer Firefighter, tell them thank-you for their hard work. Chief Foisie ( posted 08-14-11 ) |
