| "Our Family Protecting Your Family" |
| The new building behind the station 1 is complete. We now have two more bays which will house the Rescue truck and the Brush truck as well as extra room for much needed storage and a work bench. We have also added another mobile home to the back property. This donated mobile home will be an addition to our annual Haunted House. There is still a lot of planning to do but the talk right now is to have this second mobile home designed to be an automated self guided tour. If everything goes according to plans the new house should be up and running this Halloween and I am sure you will want to make plans to attend. Stay tuned! (posted 6/1/09) |

| Well another Halloween season has come and gone. The Hudson Fire Department would like to thank everyone that came out to support us. We had an exceptional year. The Fire Department, with help from Hudson I.S.D. students, brought in 10,258.00. The Fire Department is very proud of the students that helped and we appreciate the parents for letting them participate. Parents, we want you know that we are very proud of them. | Station 1 has been somewhat neglected over the last several years but Jeff and Angie Barker is correcting that problem. Jeff and Angie has taken on the responsibility of giving the inside portion of Station 1 a make-over. They have enlisted the help of several firefighters. The first task at hand was the office remodel. We have sheetrocked and painted the walls, installed tile floor, installed a new office door and we are finishing the installation of the Meridian phone system that was donated to us. Angie was also able to get 2 nice desk donated as well. Angie has been taking photos of before and after so we should have pictures for your viewing pleasure before long. (posted 03/28/2010) |

| The Hudson Fire Department would like to thank everyone that came to our annual fish fry. Thanks to you we brought in around 2850.00. Our profit was 1641.00. This is probably the most profitable fish fry we have had. Everyone appeared to be having a good time eating fish and visiting with friends and neighbors. We look forward to seeing you next year. | The Fire Department would like to thank Firefighters Marcial Foisie and Angie Barker for all of their hard work. Marcial and Angie has spent countless hours installing sheet rock, sanding, painting and doing some carpentry work. The office is finished and now we are working on the hallways. The next project will be the meeting room and then off to the upstairs. (posted 5-7-10) |
